Every shipment comes with commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin; we support Form E, Form F and RCEP declarations where applicable. Aluminium enclosures normally classify under HS 7616.99, with the finished-device code depending on your product.
Documentation is where a lot of first-time importers get stuck, so we prepare the full set as standard:
| Document | Provided | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Commercial invoice | Always | Matches the proforma you approved |
| Packing list | Always | Net / gross weight, carton and crate count |
| Certificate of Origin (CO) | On request | Chamber of Commerce issued |
| Form E / Form F / RCEP | Where applicable | Preferential duty where your country qualifies |
| Material declaration | On request | Alloy and coating composition for your compliance file |
| Dimensional / QC report | On request | Free of charge |
On classification: machined aluminium enclosures and housings are most commonly declared under HS 7616.99 (other articles of aluminium). If the enclosure is shipped as part of a functional assembly, your finished-device code may apply instead. Your customs broker makes the final call, but we will supply the product description, alloy, weight and photographs they need to classify confidently.
A note on EU carbon rules: the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) is being phased in and affects certain aluminium categories. We supply the production data you need for reporting. Duty rates into the US and EU change with trade policy, so please confirm current rates with your broker rather than relying on any figure on a supplier's website.
